When Stella came into the care of RSPCA Oxfordshire, it was through one of our Inspectors following concerns about a house overwhelmed with animals. Stella was one of many – unsure, quiet, and thought to be pregnant.
A vet check soon confirmed it: she was expecting.
We placed Stella with one of our experienced foster carers, giving her the calm, comfortable space she needed.
Not long after, she gave birth to four beautiful kittens. Over the past six weeks, they’ve flourished – playful, curious, and full of character.
Update – June 2025: Stella’s kittens are nearly ready to leave for their forever homes – and we’re thrilled to say they’ve all been reserved!
They’ll be heading off at nine weeks old, each fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and – where possible – paired up or joining homes with a resident cat, to ensure they have the companionship they thrive on.
When the time comes, Stella will also be looking for a home of her own – somewhere quiet and loving, where she can finally relax and be cherished.
