Our partnership with Pets at Home continues to make a real difference for the animals in our care. Thanks to the Pets Foundation scheme, we recently received a generous £500 grant to spend in store – and we made sure every penny went directly to supporting our wonderful foster carers and their furry guests.
Operations Manager Sharon and Linda, one of our dedicated volunteer trustees and cat foster carer, headed to Pets at Home for a well-deserved shopping spree.
Their mission?
To give our fostered animals the best possible experience while they wait for their forever homes, and to replace worn-out equipment that our foster carers rely on daily.
The shopping trolleys were soon overflowing with essentials and enrichment items: cat gyms and scratching posts to keep curious kitties entertained, a new rabbit pen, water fountains for fresh hydration, cat litter trays, plus plenty of food and litter to keep everyone well-fed and comfortable.
It took two fully-loaded cars to deliver everything to our foster network!
This grant comes on top of the incredible £792 we raised throughout last year through various in-store events at Pets at Home – bringing the total support from this partnership to nearly £1,300.
A huge thank you to Pets at Home and the Pets Foundation for their continued support. Partnerships like this help us provide the very best care for animals while they’re in foster homes, giving them the enrichment and comfort they deserve as they prepare for their next chapter.
