Join us as a Volunteer Branch Treasurer – and help change the lives of animals in Oxfordshire

Are you passionate about animal welfare and confident with charity finance? We’re looking for a dedicated volunteer to take on the vital role of Branch Treasurer for the RSPCA Oxfordshire Branch.

As part of our trustee committee, you’ll help ensure strong financial management and governance, enabling us to continue rescuing, rehoming, and caring for animals in our community.

What’s involved:

  • Attend monthly committee meetings (approx. 1 hour)

  • Oversee branch finances, budgeting, and reporting

  • Liaise with auditors, manage VAT returns, and support fundraising activities

  • Help shape the future of our branch alongside fellow trustees

What you’ll need:

  • A background in finance or accounting (charity finance experience a bonus)

  • Confidence using financial systems and working collaboratively

  • Commitment to animal welfare and ethical governance

📌 Applicants must be 18+, a branch member for 3+ months, and eligible under Charity Commission guidelines. Reasonable expenses reimbursed.
