Dolly’s start in life was far from ideal. She and her mum were found living in a cramped rabbit hutch, with little space to move and no real comfort or care. Thankfully, an RSPCA Inspector stepped in and rescued them, bringing Dolly to the Oxfordshire Branch of the RSPCA, where she was given the chance at a fresh start.
When we first arrived to pick her up from her temporary foster home, Dolly was incredibly shy. Having had minimal human interaction in her early weeks, she was unsure of her new surroundings. But with patience, love, and plenty of games with my children, she slowly started to come out of her shell.
One of the biggest transformations came from her bond with our border collie, Benji. The two quickly became best friends, always playing together—though it’s clear that Dolly is the one calling the shots! It has been wonderful to watch her confidence grow, and now it’s safe to say that Dolly has well and truly found her paws in her forever home.
A huge thank you to the RSPCA Oxfordshire team for trusting us to give Dolly the loving home she so deserved.
