Bubbles’ Story: From Heartache (and Toothache) to Hope

Meet Bubbles, a beautiful and friendly eight-year-old girl who’s had a challenging time recently. Sadly, Bubbles’ beloved owner passed away, and the family felt unable to care for her, leaving her with nowhere to go.

When she arrived at RSPCA Oxfordshire, our dedicated team quickly noticed she was suffering from severe dental pain.

Poor Bubbles had to undergo urgent dental surgery, resulting in the removal of nine painful teeth. She’s currently recuperating in our cattery, receiving plenty of gentle care, soft cuddles, and reassurance from our compassionate staff and volunteers. Although she’s feeling a bit sorry for herself right now, she’s already showing signs of bouncing back, thanks to the comfort and love she’s receiving.

Bubbles is a sweet-natured girl who absolutely loves human companionship. She dreams of finding a peaceful new home where she can be the centre of attention as the only pet, allowing her personality to truly shine and enabling her to form a special bond with her new family.

Bubbles’ story highlights precisely the kind of vital work we carry out at RSPCA Oxfordshire – dedicated rehabilitation, compassionate care, and finding loving forever homes for vulnerable animals in need.

Last year alone, we spent over £20,000 on veterinary fees, ensuring animals like Bubbles receive the urgent medical treatment they deserve. Your support makes this possible.
